Mentorship
Mentorship is a required marking period course for all CHS seniors. Students find local businesses, usually in their career interest, that agree for students to work as an unpaid intern four days per week over the course of eight weeks. Seniors leave school during lunch and report to their chosen destination for the remainder of the school day.
This program was created to provide students with real-world, workplace experience prior to their high school graduation to help them make career-based decisions. Most of all, mentorship gives students a chance to apply their amply skill sets in a real work environment.
